Do you know shell and tube evaporator working principle？

Shell evaporator is widely used because of its good heat transfer effect, compact structure, small footprint and easy installation. 

The structure of the shell and tube chiller evaporator is the same as that of the horizontal shell and tube condenser. 

In order to control the appropriate flow rate, the refrigerant enters from the lower part of the end cap, flows from the upper part, and flows back and forth in the evaporator tube and the end cap, becoming a multi-process flow.

The refrigerant flows outside the tube, the throttling refrigerant liquid enters from the bottom or side of the evaporator, and the evaporated gas is discharged from the upper part.
